It wasn’t a day for the focus
of the ambitious and determined,
he decided mid-stare,
at the swaying branch outside his window,
whose movements drew his eye but were uninteresting enough
that his mind seemed to wander.
Wander without direction,
to ideas and plans so majestic.
A gust of wind rustled the leaves on the branch.
It was a monday, he concluded,
nothing was ever accomplished on a monday.
Sorry, i have grown fond of them, they are like a power trip and procrastination mixed together into a delicious little cream bun of meaninglessness. But onto the topic: Humour! Often enjoyed, but always underrated. Can you imagine a world without humour? Where someone could say “boobs” without people chuckling? What a sad place. I think humour gives life colour and makes it just that little bit easier. Without it interactions would be bland and uninteresting, and besides, it is not healthy to take things so seriously. Which is why people that take things very seriously and take offence to anything and everything they can are a little bit sad in my books. So what if my comment was a little bit inappropriate or politically incorrect? It is not my aim to disgust, belittle or offend anyone, and in the end, if taken in good humour, it would just promote acceptance and bring people together. So in conclusion: You were once shoved head-first out of a woman’s vagina, why are you acting so dignified?
